Just a quick post to let you all know about my latest competition. I’m taking part in the Reebok Easytone trainer trial and I’m inviting one of my readers to join me!

If you haven’t heard of Easytone they are a new trainer promising to exercise the bum muscles an extra 28%. Yes please! The idea sounds similar to Fitflops and those ugly MBT shoes, however in the pictures I’ve seen they are a lot chicer.

So if like me, you’ve suddenly realised that you need to put in a bit gym time before those must have leather shorts will pull up over the thighs then this could be a great kick start. I can’t wait to get my hands on these trainers and see if they’re any good.

Behold the most recent additions to my wardrobe! A leopard oak Alexa, Louise Goldin for Topshop studded pumps and a stunning Erdem scarf.

I sulked for weeks when the Mulberry Alexa sold out everywhere. Not only am I the ultimate Mulberry addict but I had to go through LFW seeing them literally everywhere. I was overjoyed when I found one last, lonely leopard oak waiting for me in the Mulberry store at Heathrow. Now we are inseperable!

I was also lucky enough to receive a gorgeous limited edition Erdem for Charles Worthington scarf thanks to the Front Row people. The colours and the print of the scarf are just amazing, it hasn’t left my neck since I got it.

My last sneaky purchase was a pair of Louise Goldin for Topshop pumps. Be warned- these shoes come up very small in size. I love them but I don’t know if I will actually be able to get my feet into them! I’m going to try and stretch them a bit so fingers crossed.

I was really excited to discover that Oasis have brought back their collection of beautiful feathered pieces for Spring. There are four gorgeous items to chose from- the feather skirt (remember it from this post last year?!), the feather gilet and the feather dress from last season has been reinvented in two soft pastel tones.

I love the girlie glamour of feathers. I can’t wait to get my hands on the feather dress in pale pink! The gilet looks stunning too.

I was very excited when Zoe Watt, the talented designer of BRASS, contacted me about viewing her latest collection. After browsing the A/W 10 look book I couldn’t wait for her visit to the Hempel hotel where I was staying. She kindly fitted in an appointment with Karena and I before jetting off to Paris.

Zoe arrived armed with some stunning samples from her A/W 10 collection which were inspired by Film Noir, Art deco patterns, a palette of blues & blacks, all combined with a touch of HRH Princess Ann.

Her designs have already been featured in Cosmopolitan, WWD-Fast and many other big magazines. She is definitely one to watch!

It is difficult to see from the pictures but there is so much detail put into each individual piece. The fabrics used are very high quality- the velvety tartan particularly caught my eye.

It’s great to see a fellow Scot taking on the fashion world. I hope Zoe does really well and look forward to seeing her showing at future fashion weeks.

Feast your eyes on One of a Kind Vintage. This aladdin’s cave of vintage treasures is tucked away in London’s Portobello.

Karena, from My New Best Friends, and I were invited into the VIP room which is jam packed with exquisite couture pieces. The store is a favourite with celebrities from Kate Moss to Lindsay Lohan. We even got to see this dress which Thandie Newton wore to last years BAFTAs.

Jeffery who works in One of a Kind talked us through all the couture pieces pictured above. He is the most knowledgable, vintage expert I’ve ever met. If you ever visit the store then make sure you say hi to him!

The Chanel jumbo bag (3rd pic) stole my heart! It’s one of only 50 ever made and it has a value of over £100,000 (so worth it!). I also spied an enormous Hermes bag which I didn’t even dare to ask the price-tag of. Apparently the store owner, Jeff Ihenacho, has it in another colour.

Jeff kindly posed for a picture with us, a priviledge usually reserved for the many celebs that flock to his store. I thought his floor length fur coat was stunning.

If you are ever in Portobello don’t forget to visit One of a Kind. It’s every girl’s dream and an unforgettable experience.
